Cool-season Greece is made for running. The temperatures are kinder, the paths are quieter, and the landscape has traded its high-summer glare for clearer skies and greener hills. The calendar is gloriously democratic: friendly 5Ks for travellers who like scenery at a conversational pace, classic 10Ks and half marathons for the sensibly ambitious, full marathons for the committed, and mountain ultras for people who treat suffering as sightseeing.

Every event below is mapped to a practical airport gateway, so a race becomes a proper winter escape. Fly in, run somewhere beautiful, recover in a taverna, and call the second helping “carbohydrate strategy.”
