Every guide tells you Greece is lovely in winter. None of them tells you what is open. So we rated it: a 1–5 score for all 39 year-round Greek airports, covering how much of the surrounding area genuinely runs between October and April, alongside the typical winter daytime high.
It is the dataset behind the ratings on this site, and as far as we can tell it does not exist anywhere else. It is free, and you may republish it.
5 — Fully open all winter. Nothing meaningful is closed.
4 — Mostly open. Normal life, fewer visitors.
3 — Half awake. The main sights run; the seasonal edges do not.
2 — Thin. Enough to visit, not enough to fill a week.
1 — Largely shut. A handful of places open, mostly for residents.

Ratings are editorial judgements, not survey results: each is based on published opening hours, transport schedules and operator information for the October–April window, reviewed by hand per airport. They describe a typical winter, not a guarantee for a given week, and they are re-checked before each season. If you find one wrong, tell us — corrections improve the next release.
